What do you think about a State spending taxpayer money

On advertising about how and when to vote?
More people don't vote than do in most areas so it seems like a waste of money to me.
I think some people not voting is actually their vote... They don't care and are opting out.

I think it's a good idea to remind people of their obligation to vote.

Voting is both a privilege and a duty. To anyone who thinks voting makes no difference, I say look at American history. People risked their lives to get the right to vote, African-Americans, women, etc. And others attacked those seeking the vote, and sometimes killed them. Think about that when you are deciding to vote or not.

In 2020 a third of eligible voters didn't vote. Given that the remaining 2/3 is split between GOP, DEM, independent/NPA-- we really have no political mandate. Evah.

Which is alot about why people don't participate.

I am not sure ad campaigns will help.

I was reading about the recent election in Italy.
The first female prime minister was elected, from what I read her party is a derivative of Benito Mussolini's party.
They had approximately one third less in voter turn out
