Another One: Poultry Processing Plant Catches Fire in Montebello, California

A poultry processing plant in Montebello, California was caught on fire on Sunday.

A representative for the city of Montebello said that QC Poultry, located at 1111 W. Olympic Blvd., had building damaged and that numerous commercial cars may have been destroyed by fire, according to KTLA.

The fire was contained with the help of Montebello Fire and other mutual aid fire departments.

“Shortly after 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, your [Montebello Fire Department] responded to a reported structure fire in the 1000 block of Olympic Blvd,” Montebello FD wrote on Instagram.

“First arriving units on scene found a large industrial building with heavy smoke showing. As members began to deploy, the fire was upgraded to a third alarm commercial fire.”

The cause of the fire is unknown.

“Firefighters initially took a defensive stance and held the fire from spreading to any other nearby structures. After a significant amount of resources worked to access the burning areas, the fire was declared knocked down at 8:00 p.m. At the time of this posting, the cause of the fire remains under investigation,” the post concluded.

“Footage from the scene shows burn damage near the building’s windows and doors, as well as at least one unit from the Monterey Park Fire Department present to assist,” per KTLA.

“The fire was located in a heavily industrial area and no residential properties were threatened, though the blaze was adjacent to the Montebello Bus Lines service facility and bus yard,” the outlet added.

Now, I'm not saying that this is part of a scheme to generate a food shortage,
but if I wanted to create a food shortage destroying this food plant along with dozens of others is something I might do. Just sayin.

ShadowWolf · 31-35, M
Considering they all want us to eat crickets and other bugs instead of meat, this would not surprise me.

AND due to drought in CALIFORNIA, there will be a tomato shortage this year...news of which was followed by a massive overturned truck full of tomatoes on the highway in California. 300,000 tomatoes.

AND I am wondering why there are NO stories anywhere about any of these meat processing plants being rebuilt after the fires. I am wondering if we are just supposed to feel hopeless and afraid of starving?
“ Heavy smoke showing”. Indicates a very likely well advanced fire condition. That raises a question or two: possible advanced fire? Question: 1 Was the facility protected by a smoke/,heat detection system(s)? 2. Was the facility protected by a sprinkler system? Both designed and intended to detect and attack fire in its incipient stage.

@cherokeepatti Yup its all about control ,the vax proved they can manipulate large numbers .
@SW-User And your knowledge of this comes from, where? You are/were a firefighter?
I did it for 33 years. You’re sadly mistaken in your broad condemnation of these men and women.

These fires are too many , involving the food chain and very likely acts of sabotage by arson.
Any SWers who have a background in fire protection, Fire investigation or can cite NFPA or other fire service entities showing past similar trends?

Firefighters are underworked and way overpaid and they take massive advantage over the tax system. Most just lounge around all day drinking and playing cards like bums. Often times they’re the ones starting a lot of these fires in California too. Some years back there was even a scandal about it here . Their pensions should be further slashed than what they already have been.

Even if this were true, and it's not - do you have anything to say about the topic of this post?

Fires starting in food processing plants, including those of the meat processing kind, are not at all a new phenomenon or "trend".
Carissimi · F
They took out chickens and cars with this one. They are getting more efficient.

Proving once again how susceptible blithering idiots are to any idiotic conspiracy theory

Bill Gates did it. He's pushing his fake meat business.
