If you get what we get, we won't be special anymore

Marjorie Taylor-Greene, apparently still suffering from chronic verbal vomit, recently talked about unfair it is to simply forgive the debt of those seeking an education.

What she didn't say? She herself was forgiven of $185,304 of student loan.
What she also didn't mention: 13 Republicans who were being publicly critical of the debt forgiveness policy have also enjoyed its program:

• Matt Gaetz (R-FL): $476,000
• Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA): $180,000
• Greg Pence (R-IN): $79,441
• Vern Buchanan (R-FL): $2.8M
• Kevin Hern (R-OK): $1,070,000
• Roger Williams (R-TX): $1,430,000
• Brett Guthrie (R-KY): $4.3M
• Ralph Norman (R-SC): $306,520
• Ralph Abraham (R-LA): $38,000
• Mike Kelly (R-PA): $974,100
• Vicki Hartzler (R-MO): $451,200
• Markwayne Mullin (R-OK): $988,700
• Carol Miller (R-WV): $3.1M

The Party of

Marjorie Taylor Green went to college?😲

That is really hard to believe

UGA queen of gangbangs@independentone
@independentone Sure she went to college. To meet her coke dealer at the local college.
Boebert went on an incoherent rant on this subject too. The Colorado State Board of Education offered to give her back the $24.99 it costed her to take her GED exam 3 times.

Godd-mn the bar really is painfully low in the US

@SW-User Idiots electing idiots. Makes you wonder if we should be protecting all fronts as the world tries to shrug us off her back.
@SW-User Boebert is a piece of work... and before that a paid piece of ass. She worked as a street ho...before she became a congressperson.....had 3 pregnancies all by different johns ...3 abortions. Then said the SCOTUS was right..abortions should be banned. Her husband is a registered sex offender. He showed his penis to teen girls in a bowling alley. Never graduated high school and is functionally illiterate. The Colorado GOP made her get a GED...she didnt want too. She failed the GED 3 times.......and now makes OUR laws. She is one of the rising stars in the Republican Party now. What does that tell you?

And the party of Got mine is certainly not limited to one party. Until there is a viable 3rd party to threaten the other two, nothing will change
@Bill1372 Third Parties have only one function.........and that is take votes away from a candidate that is a threat.......so it takes less of a percentage of votes to put in a less popular, less viable candidate. Look back in history. Ralph Nader was ran multiple times...........to split the vote. in 2016...for instance....Libertarian Gary Johnson, former Governor of New Mexico, garnered 3.3 percent of the vote. While that may not seem significant, he did accrue nearly 4.4 million votes, more than a million more than the total by which Hillary Clinton won the popular vote in that state. that affected the electoral votes in Trump's favor. In half the states that Clinton won, Johnson tipped those scales by swaying traditional Republican voters to vote for him and not Trump.

None of this is lost on campaign managers.....and PACS. Dems will back a 3rd party candidate in a certain state to help them win a close election..........and Republicans play the same game. No one thinks a third party candidate will win. They are just used as paid pawns to swing the vote by small percentages..........that can make a big difference in who wins that state. If one looks at campaign finance in every election the money behind the 3rd party candidate is put up by Dems...or Republicans...depending on who most would benefit by a margin vote for the 3rd party candidate.

@anythingoes477 yes… but… I said a viable as in a 3rd party that doesn’t just take away votes but could win elections.

The party of greed has no compunction of letting money for the less unfortunate go to the unfortunate.

They take the stance that the more intelligent (ie. arrogant, selfish, vain and so forth) are more worthy of that money. So why not make less available to those same unfortunate. 😡

Thank you for posting this. As those students needs to be aware that their forgiven debt will become public knowledge
Graylight · 51-55, F
@MarineBob Do you think that's in any way shameful? Seeking further education and bettering oneself and thereby a society will never be a thing restricted. The quality of mercy is not strained, Bob.

How did someone spend 3.1 million on education when the money they earn will hardly equate to 3.1 million over the course of a 20 year career? Shocking

And no democrats have , honest question as I'm in uk
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Dacrowman They may well have, I'm not suggesting they haven't. But one party endorses the practice for all those for whom it makes sense. The other decries it but takes great advantage of it nonetheless.

I know I loved seeing this brought forward 👍

Interesting. This new bill will definitely be a big help to those who are in need.
