Looks like I must have thrown @laotzu92 off his game and he got confused as to who he was replying.

You see, last week I asked him if he was a Harding, Coolidge or Hoover man.

And he quickly replied, "Coolidge."

So I asked him to read an "America First" speech by Coolidge and he's said few words since. (now THAT's definitely Coolidge-esque. 😂)

Do you know the story about the woman who sat next to "Silent Cal" at a dinner party and said, "I made a bet that I could get you to say more than two words" ?
His reply: "You lose."
It was a fine speech and indicates your wide learning.

And a groundbreaking ceremony where he shoveled a clump of dirt and said, "Good dirt."

But there are aspects of Coolidge's presidency that are often overlooked.

Coolidge understood the barbarity of the Armenian Genocide by Turkey. The President had promoted a worldwide relief agency for displaced and starving Armenians.

Coolidge also signed into law the Revenue Act of 1924, which is the legal basis for the House Ways & Means Committee demanding Trump's tax returns. So another good thing President Coolidge did.
