US-Russia Prisoner Swap Is Near Completion

The US Sec. of State is reportedly working on a 2-for-2 prisoner swap with his Russian counterpart. The Russians will release Basketball star Brittney Griner and former Marine Paul Whelan, in return for the US releasing Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout and Donald Trump. It's not really clear if Melania will be shipped back to Slovenia as part of the deal.

The US shouldn't negotiate with terrorists.

People who take cannabis into foreign countries are adults and sometimes have to live with the consequences of their actions.

Apart from that, teachers (Fogel) are more valuable than athletes (Griner), but regardless, arms dealers should never be traded for either, because both should've thought better about what they were doing (especially a teacher).
