DeSantis boots woke prosecutor Andrew Warren for failing to enforce state laws

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has suspended a George Soros-backed progressive prosecutor for failing to enforce state laws.

DeSantis said Hillsborough County State Attorney Andrew Warren — who oversees the Tampa Bay area — will be removed from his post immediately. The governor said he will ultimately seek his dismissal.

At a press conference Thursday, DeSantis insisted Warren had “publicly put himself above the law” while frustrating local deputies and citizens with a soft-on-crime approach.

DeSantis said Warren directed his office to let serious offenses slide and that he vowed not to enforce any current or future laws regarding abortion or gender-reassignment surgery on minors.

“We are not going to allow the pathogen that’s been around the country of ignoring the law, we are not going to allow that to get a foothold here in the state of Florida,” he said. “We are going to make sure our laws are enforced and no individual prosecutor puts himself above the law.”

@Stereoguy We'll all be poor but at least the Libs will be owned or something.

@BohemianBoo under what context do you think we will all be poor?

I suppose you're too young to recall lowest unemployment rate in 60 yrs, almost zero inflation, and $1.79 gas from trump's first term?
@easterniowegin He inherited that from Obama. Then he fucked up so bad that he caused a recession and a lockdown. It was almost a thing of beauty. Dude was handed a thriving economy and turned America into a failed state in about three years.

@BohemianBoo You really have no clue.
@ron122 I lived through it. Were you in a coma?

@BohemianBoo You've just made yourself irrelevant with that stupid comment. Now go away.
@ron122 Sorry, didn't mean to trigger you with those inconvenient truths.

@BohemianBoo
Obama was given avg $1.84 gas in '08. He drove it up over $3...and it stayed >$3 as a national avg for 4 straight years.
Trump stayed below and never saw $3 gas. Ever.

@easterniowegin The president doesn't control gas prices. I swear, this should be taught in schools because it's amazing how many people don't understand this.
Plus, the reason gas was so low under Trump is because nobody was driving during the height of covid. Another thing that should be taught in schools is supply and demand, because apparently everyone is ignorant of that too.

@BohemianBoo obamas lowest unemployment number was 4.7%. His highest was 10%.
Trump took over at 4.7% and drove it down, steadily until it hit 3.6%. Then the democrat governors shut down their economies, laid off ppl...over a virus scare.

@BohemianBoo
You're all over the place here.
A) presidential policy absolutely impacts gas prices...also unemployment, inflation, dollar value, gdp, stock market, etc.
B) covid lasted 9 months of trumps last year. He never had $3 gas. Never.
C) You literally gave obama credit for each item, but knew nothing about the actual numbers. You were just a snot-nosed kid when Obama took over. You have no clue what happened.
@easterniowegin Nope. Trump crashed the economy before that. People stopped going out and spending money before the lockdowns because they were rightfully afraid of covid.
easterniowegin · 51-55, M
@BohemianBoo February 2020 had the lowest unemployment numbers in 60 years. No one was scared to spend. GDP was at its highest point in Feb 2020. It had increased steadily during his term.
You have the damn internet in your hand...go find a damn fact before you post any more.
@easterniowegin
You're all over the place here.
How? What did I say that contradicted something else I said?
covid lasted 9 months of trumps last year. He never had $3 gas. Never.
Trump inherited the gas price downturn from Obama. The reason it continued to drop was because, again, nobody was driving during the height of covid.

Serious question, are you just trolling because you think you're triggering the Libs or something?
@easterniowegin
No one was scared to spend.
Were you in a coma for all of 2020?
easterniowegin · 51-55, M
@BohemianBoo covid isn't shown on that chart, dumbass. It was 2020...that chart stops in 2018.
I'm done with you.
