That has been going on for a long time. Very sad news.

No one in DC cares.

@Repete or the invasion

@nudistsueaz the mayor doesn’t like it when they get transported to DC and dropped off for her to take care of though, does she?

It's painful. It's practically a plague. And it's been going on for years...probably decades. The question always comes back to why? Our southern border is is a human/child/drug trafficking highway.
I understand the huge market for drugs. But humans? Particularly children? The people involved on both ends are satanic monsters.

@BizSuitStacy And deserve caught tried, and executed without any second chances or appeals.
For centuries, this has been happening
Ontheroad · M
Nothing new there... while it is a horror beyond comprehension, it is not new. Congress, both the House and Senate, refuse to deal with the border and that is our problem. Ted Cruz is just using what has been happening on the Texas border for years and years to gain political ground.

@akindheart I do, because while he is using to gain politically, he is doing zip, nada, nothing to fix the problem and that is his job.
akindheart · 61-69, F
@Ontheroad good point but i think the problem is bigger than Ted Cruz. it has to be stopped from the top. if the story is true, Biden is flying these teens everywhere.
Ontheroad · M
@akindheart It has very little to do with Biden or Trump, or any of their predecessors. Congress, both the House and the Senate have virtually total control over what happens on the border. They determine, or would if the did their jobs, what laws and rules, etc., apply. They have failed to pass any meaningful legislation in many years. Why? Because of political partisanship by both the Republicans and Democrats. So yeah, I don't want to hear any member of Congress talking about it and trying to lay blame on the other party. They, including Cruz are to blame for the problems with immigration, border security, etc.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
That doesn`t just happen south of the border. It is known to happen between Canada and the US and like the others have mentioned, it`s been going on a long time.
Repete · 61-69, M
Sad but true.its just that The south border is getting all the attention and also sad but I think it is politically motivated by people that are more interested in not letting the other party be seen as having a better plan to help so they block them . Drop the politics and help solve a problem together. Just my opinion.@Degbeme

The coyotes will take women and girls as young as 5 out under a tree and rape them before they release them. Border patrol agents call them rape trees. Horrible people and they need to be dealt with.

Anna Paulina Luna is running for US Congress in Florida. She wants to represent her district and Hispanics across the country who are flocking to the GOP in record numbers.
Anna Paulina Luna says being born in America is like winning the lottery and she never gave up in spite of what she faced. Her family dealt with drug addiction and didn’t have a lot of money, yet they persevered. She graduated from high school and joined the US Air Force.

I'm pretty familiar with the border area. I spent a year there when I was younger and still have family and friends that live within a few city blocks of the Rio Grand. Until COVID we routinely visited a few times a year. Until 15 years ago I felt comfortable just walking across the bridge for lunch or dinner in Mexico, or just to buy Mexican candy or pastries. Or just to sit on a bench in one of the plazas and enjoy being surrounded by a slightly different culture.
Norco ended all that. For us and for most of our friends that live close to the border. Border towns are now like West Berlin in the cold war, where a visit to East Berlin was too dangerous. Even pre-COVID, we'd often stay at a hotel that overlooks the river, and where you can see a few blocks into Mexico. Just within those few blocks there were horror stories of people hanging from bridges or severed heads stacked up as warnings, or headless bodies. More recent gruesome stories are of the Narco extermination camps:

most of that does not sneak across the boarder walking from Mexico
most are flown in with good papers, and a "Job Waiting" that turns out NOT to be as advertised. Also some of this i women trafficked AFTER they have crossed the Mexico boarder , by other immigrants

@SatyrService the story said that Joe is flying the teens into cities. that was in the video
SatyrService · M
@akindheart Somehow, I don’t think that equates with the sex trafficking that I have seen across America
