Cons here on SW insist on berating 1/6 hearings but refuse to even watch highlights of them.

The hearings provide the public with evidence and an understanding of Trump's crimes beyond what we saw on 1/6. They're outlining that this is a clear and calculated conspiracy to overthrow American democracy. They're preparing Americans for the reality, that we're actually going to indict a former president for crimes committed while in office, and we need it to not be muddied at all by partisan politics.

Can you imagine giving a campaign money, finding out that the money you gave that campaign didn't go where it was promised to go, then making excuses for the keeping of the money to someone who was already (supposedly) rich? My Liberal heart wants to feel anger for them, but reading, hearing, and seeing how they behave...just nahh.

The last decade in Americas political, economic and social history is appalling. I know I am on record as repeating this over and over. But in every aspect it seems difficult to find a sign of it turning around. The economy crumbles from within and without. The social structures are failing, with heath, crime and homelessness. Education, freedoms and community issues being eroded. And now we are witnessing politics being separated from both truth and justice. I wont even mention gun control. And social media and the mainstream actually PROUD of their ignorance.. The nation is on life support and a decision to pull the plug is imminent.
So Please... Will someone on the right answer and with FACTS, show me where I am wrong about any of this?😷

@whowasthatmaskedman you are right and i'm on the right. the economy is crumbling and we have a president who is totally incompetent on economic matters. they say it's putin's price hike or the pandemic, etc. well, as i recall trump (i'm indifferent to him, despite what many here may believe) warned during the pandemic that shutting down the economy would be disastrous, yet the left begged for that. so, it's pretty obvious who's to blame.

social structures are failing... hell, the left can't even tell the difference between a male and a female. they think men can have babies... defund the police, something like 75% of crimes committed with a gun go unpunished, mathematics in school is racist to some, etc. need anyone say more?

@boudinMan At least you are not one of those who is trying to claim there is nothing wrong.. But almost every issue predates Trump, let alone Biden.. The economy was always going to be stressed in a pandemic. Thats global.. The remedy was to put it on nthe life support of printed money in the short term. The being that America was already on that course from the later days of Bush ll. I'm not try to blame either side here. There is plenty of blame to go around. But it continues to get worse. 😷

What happened was within the range of reasonableness for an office in that situation." But instead you resorted to treating Lee as if he were either vile or an imbecile, neither of which is true.

Hmm this all sounds very noble and patriotic but I cannot take this seriously while the same people aghast at Trump are the same people who didn't think it was a big deal when Clinton setup her own authoritative email server to avoid scrutiny of her business or when Hunter Biden's laptop was discovered and revealed the corruption of the Biden family and their business dealings in Ukraine(of which we are now in a proxy war with Russia over) and China.

It is partisanship and I suggest you rethink your viewpoint.

We know how to pick Hollywood winners and losers without having to waste time seeing them. Overhyping is the big clue. When the misinformation industry invests in hyping up a movie before it's even released we know it's going to be a dog.

Speaking of Hollywood, anyone else notice all the movies on Netflix, Tubings, Hulu, etc. are coming from places OTHER than the USA? It's like with our TV sets, cell phones, computers, automobiles, etc. We overtaxed Americans can no longer manufacture what we need here, let alone what can be exported elsewhere. And that includes movies.

If Garland had indicted Trump when he was sworn in, without any public acknowledgement of his crimes, it would've sent the country into a tailspin and civil war, and would otherwise come off as politically motivated and not justice motivated. It would've made Trump a martyr, and likely would've been so rushed, that he would've gotten off and it would do irreparable harm to the country.
