Will Russians ever forgive Putin for taking away their Big Macs?

At this point I'm kinda disappointed in the Russian people.

They have much bigger problems than Big Macs. The way things are going the economic ruin of the 90s will be seem like a blessing in comparison.

This will likely result in more unrest domestically. Putin for 20 years got most of his popularity out of the myth (and some truth) about him bringing the country out of total ruin. The trick is he can also rightly blame the west for the economic ruin like every sanctioned nation in history so it could go either way.

What about taking away their children who’ve been KIA in Ukraine? Obviously Putin didn’t take lessons from his Government’s losses and retreat from Afghanistan.
But then too, we did not heed the French after their rout from ( then) Indo China, now Viet Nam.
