John Legend Slammed After Mocking Americans Angry That Illegals Reportedly Got Baby Formula First
“When's the last time he said something in support of our country?”
Grammy award winning singer John Legend was slammed after he mocked a Republican congressman for saying that Americans should be prioritized over illegal immigrants during the baby formula shortage plaguing the nation.
Texas Rep. Troy Nehls took note of a report stating that the Biden administration had reportedly shipped “pallets” of baby formula to migrant holding facilities. He commented, “Baby formula should go to Americans before illegals. This should not have to be said.”
Legend taunted, “These are the ‘pro-life’ folks.”
Legend’s mockery triggered harsh criticism on social media:
Radio host Joe Pagliarulo: “Yes, John. Baby formula in America should to American families before the families of those breaking the law to come here. Why is this controversial? When’s the last time you said something in support of our country?”
Attorney/author Kurt Schlichter: “Yes I prefer Americans to foreigners. You have accurately assessed my preference.”
Florida GOP Rep. Kat Cammack stated on Facebook that she didn’t blame the immigrant children for having the formula, but said the Biden administration was again implementing its “America Last” agenda.
