If that's the case, whoever said that wasn't wasn't [i]exactly[/i] lying... but calling it 'leftists' when it's actually the Dept. of Health in a liberal state is questionable at best. And yeah, that does sound like an overdramatization on Trump's part; like, the state has admitted that white people [i]may[/i] be discriminated against, but we don't have any examples of it actually happening. And the 'denigrated' part is a lie.

It's interesting that these same people don't complain about kidney transplants, where because of assumptions about different levels of kidney function between races, Black people have to be sicker than white people to qualify for transplants.

I haven't heard the full story about NYC but I saw this regarding MN:

Minnesota removed race as a preferential factor regarding which COVID-19 patients will receive monoclonal antibody treatment last.
That's all I know at this point. I believe UT might have got some pushback as well.

We have idiots making similar claims up here. And they are right on the surface that some non white communities get easier access. For example in my Province there are alot of First Nations reserves and you would be lucky to have a nursing station, nevermind a proper hospital on the rez.


So yeah, it makes sense. Even in the US back in 2020 when this all started I believe it was the Navajo who asked for medical assistance with covid and got sent body bags.

Even when there is a bit of truth to these kinds of lies these people leave out context so their followers can play the victim.
