Africa from what I hear, isn't interested in the vax, and seem to be doing fine.
@checkoutanytime there are plenty of people here in South Africa who have been vaccinated.
Doometernal · 26-30, M
@checkoutanytime as someone said below, there are idiots in every country.

But the majority theme is different between first world and developing countries.

You just cannot survive without vaccination in a third world country.
@Doometernal have a happy Thanksgiving, I'm not trying to stop you from taking it if you want it. Personally I do not, because it's a respiratory virus. Enjoy the day.

Black Plague went away without a vaccine. Humanity still advanced
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@Doometernal Facts hurt?
@MrBrownstone exactly. It's called building natural immunity
Doometernal · 26-30, M
@Stargazer89 sure they didn't have vaccines. I agree. But do you know what they did to people who got the plague? And how many people died?

And then how much time it took for humanity to recover from the damage?

Ok on one side there's some advantage. Feudalism from of governance is eliminated mostly .

There are always idiots, in every country.
As a matter of fact, I think there is a fair bit of anti-vax sentiment in the 3rd world and this time w/good reason, since first world scientists have used them as guinea pigs before
Doometernal · 26-30, M
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP that i agree. Bill gates did the most damage here regarding this topic
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP yeah it is so here in South Africa, people talk about it all the time, Re Bill Gates, that being said a vast amount of locals aren’t perturbed by that and are getting vaccinated.

@Doometernal Check again
Doometernal · 26-30, M
@MrBrownstone exactly..check again. It's the only disease we have eliminated
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@Doometernal I checked.
Bill gates did the most damage here regarding this topic
What topic, and did Bill Gates do?
Northwest · M
@LilithoftheTrees Thank you, but I am familiar with all the Gates chip implantation conspiracy theories out there. But that's not what the OP was referring to:
Bill gates did the most damage here regarding this topic
I don't know what the alleged damage is and I don't know what the topic is, because the OP is referencing a comment that was deleted.
@Northwest thanks for clarifying.
My immediate Dr (retired) neighbor is an anti-vaxxer, and even he always mentions how Bill Gates wants us to take his experimental vaccine...and he even tried to sample them on some poor Indian villagers, until they shunned him!

I guess you don't get out much. There is lots of anti vax sentiment around the world. The facts are that vaxes are a bit of a one trick pony. They sort of worked on smallpox and polio but not much since. Most of the vaxes do have serious side effects and are often more deadly than the disease. Then there is the mRNA vaxes for covid. They are a complete and unmitigated disaster. The higher the vax rate the higher the infection rate. Study after study after study including Pfizer's own shows that the 'all cause' death rate is twice as high among the vaxed in comparison to the unvaxed. Why anyone would think that getting vaxed is a sign of superior thinking or higher intelligence is a mystery. I guess the unthinking vaxers aren't near as smart as they think they are.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Doometernal Obviously I know more about them than you do. Vaxing against a corona virus by getting the body to produce one of the spike proteins remains the stupidest idea in medical history. I don't know anyone who died from the disease or even been in hospital with the disease. I know 7 people hospitalized with the vax and one of those died. I guess you just aren't as informed as you like to think.

@Doometernal Care to explain?
Having had them and the fact the diminished the impacts of Covid on me and my family, I’d say they are not.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@JackieDaytona Can you prove the 'diminished impacts of covid'? I had covid. It was a very very mild cold. Almost pleasant to have. Other than a cough and funny tasting food the sleeps were wonderful. Almost like being on holiday. BTW I am not vaxed. 7 people I know were hospitalized with the vax. One of them died.
@hippyjoe1955 You know seven vaxxed people? I know 252 vaxxed people, not one reported any issues.

That would suggest to me the people in your part of the world applying the vax are the problem. Not the vax.
curiosi · 61-69, F
Ask them that in Africa where Gates and company, sterilized, mamed and killed people with their vax.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
I’m reading Bobby Kennedy Jr’ book about this. I don’t have much in common with Bobby Kennedy as to our politics and values, but he’s on the side of free speech and against this creeping totalitarianism, and he seems to know a lot about Gates and Fauci, and the corruption of the system. @curiosi

Vaccines are not bad per say. I am sure you are talking about the so called covid vaccines. They are not vaccines, they are anti viral drugs.
Don't know if you have noticed that efficacity is not great if you constantly need boosters....

In the US, we have the luxury of arrogance.
