Should Sharia Law be implemented in Alabama?

SW-User
Yes. Alabama should be renamed "Al-Abama".

@SW-User Too bad they didn't vote blue a few years back. They could've been known as Al-Obama.

Is it not? Mandatory prayer before government events and meetings. Mandatory "in God we trust" emblazoned everywhere. Legislation against other religions (2014). Government control over a woman's body and reproductive rights. Laws against sexual practices deemed unfit. Religious prayer and education in public school systems. Religious education is compulsory in all state-funded schools. Displays of the Ten Commandments in public spaces protected by law.

Sounds like the government running people's lives based on religious law, doesn't it?

@Graylight Religious fundamentalism doesn't belong anywhere, be it Sharia or Christian laws, we live in a Non-Secular Nation and religions should have no say in how we are Governed, period.
Half the GOP want to make the Book of Leviticus the law of the land so not much different.

No, Alabama is definitely defiant of God's Laws.
They're a bunch of levitating immortal water walkers.
On a more serious note, the fact that Sharia Law is mentioned still in 2021 sends me
