@Notanymore sorry, now, on everything from weapons of mass destruction to the case for evolution, I'm not wrong and it's not helping for me to constantly cast doubt on whether cigarettes cause cancer, either.

@Stopmakingsense i understand your frustration, but anyone that believes they're always right, is usually often wrong, at best. Opinions are based on perceptions, maybe being more open to someone else's views would benefit you and them.

Why bother? There really is only one way to do it and that is to befriend them. That is, make them see you as a real person instead of simply the other. Then you can start to try to understand why each individual feels and behaves as they do, and then you can try to persuade them to change.

@ninalanyon they already see me as mom, sister, classmate, boss, teacher friend, partner and co worker. Maybe I influenced a person, but I've never backed down and I see no evidence that I've been heard.
