Why did we have to shut down last year?
The original shutdown was in the absence of vaccines, so isolating and distancing was our only tool. The current pandemic is a pandemic of the unvaccinated, who saw the life boat and made their choice to stay out of it. And who are those lifeboat avoiders? This poll gives a sense:

Last year was an election year. Dems needed an excuse to have mail in voting to rig the election!
Human1000 · M
@JT123 If there was no mail-in voting you would still say it was rigged, dumbfuck.

Better question is why places that are slammed with covid cases and are running out of ICU space aren’t shutting down now. But we all know the answer.

Wow - I didn't understand one word of that...

Fine job the current administration is doing, eh?
ineedadrink · 51-55, M
@sunsporter1649 Well, they inherited a $hitstomrm w/regards to the virus. Only so much they can do even if the current president wasn't useless.
Slade · 56-60, M
So you admit Bidet, and his effluvia, are responsible for many more deaths that happened during Trump's watch
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
