4meAndyou · F
@TexChik Joe Manchin is opposed to the 3.5 trillion.
Driver2 · M

@Stereoguy What do you call what happened on Jan. 6, a rowdy tour group?

Also, please consult a dictionary. The failure of your homeschooling is obvious.

The idiots should all be hung for what they are doing to our country

@theAlchemist Can you believe that the US government and the president himself actually met with the Taliban to discuss giving them their country back?.......................oh wait, that was Trump in 2020.

Yeah just let ‘em all march right in. You’d be applauding them for your fine work upholding the Communist movement and would probably also be the first sent to the camp. I’m sure you would protest that you were integral to the Movement and would still be shoved right into the cattle car. Bye bye. @LeopoldBloom
@stratosranger We don’t need to spend that much on the military to prevent the country from being invaded, dipshit. I have no problem with a purely defensive force. What I object to is paying to maintain a world empire of 700+ foreign bases, just to make a few contractors rich.

You would welcome a foreign invasion and slavery as long as the invaders were white conservatives.
And more of the usual Commie nonsense from you. You’re barely worth a reply.@LeopoldBloom

I have an idea. How about those that voted for him should pay for it and leave the rest of us out. 😏

@stratosranger
That’s what I’m saying. Could you imagine if Trump did this? Impeachment, congressional hearings, demands for cognitive tests, literal pitch forks and torches outside the White House. But Biden? Free pass. Again. @jackjjackson

Aww! Thanks for the BC 😌😌😌
Lol. Spent between 8 and 14 trillion on destroying a country most Americans can't find on a map 20 years later but 3 trillion to keep American bridges and buildings from collapsing around your ears is beyond the pale apparently. Interesting priorities.
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
@Oberon1

Pics is an example of the Zizek trilemma:

If you are honest and intelligent, you can't be a communist

If you are a communist and honest, you can't be intelligent

If you are intelligent and a communist, you can't be honest

But in Pics' case, he is neither intelligent nor honest, so it is doubly easy for him to be a communist. 😂 😂 😂

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow As John McLoughlin used to say "You've uncontrollably lurched into the truth"

We are so Effed up, we can't even see how plainly logical this is...

whomever it is here that thinks there are American taxpayers that want to waste money on either that porkfest the dems are hoping for now OR a protracted mess in one of the stanz has their head so far up their own backside they probably don't know the difference between a radical extremist and an America first conservative.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Why don’t those of us that feel the way you expressed have a voice in the media? There are more of us than of them. @SteelHands

You radical right wing Republicans always whine about paying for things UNLESS it's for something that you want, like your TWENTY year war in Afghanistan, for instance.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@sunsporter1649 I wouldn't call it the same but conservatism these days is not classic conservatism.

It's lucidly aligned with classic morality with the quasi progressive modernist social norms of the 1960s.

However it lacks the understanding that the public discourse is being manipulated by academic ignorance that is configured to redefine an entire lexicon to redefine the Republican party.

There are very few right wing people, and even fewer true conservatives. The Democrats are now becoming the radicalist party. While the Republicans are attempting to be the practicalist party.

Thinking that compromise or reasoning can balance a party force that intends to destroy the entire system only have opened the door to socialism in this country.

It needs to be slammed in their face.
@sunsporter1649 Apparently, not conservative enough for you people.

Never kid yourself that any one man, any one leader, can be either the destroyer or the salvation of America.

America doesn't consists of one leader and millions of followers. It consists of millions upon millions of free men that send servants to Washington DC because they're not really useful anywhere else.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
What are they gonna do when they run out of other peoples money?
@sunsporter1649 That will never happen unless you people succeed in turning America into a third world dictatorship.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@LeopoldBloom Youse dudes are trying every day to turn the shining city on the hill into a kitty litter box
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
Perfect time for this sort of thing.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
I believe both sides should give up this capitalistic control nightmare that been going on since the mid 1940s.

And yes it's both sides that use capitalism for their own control purposes.

Payment can be made for the necessary improvements to infrastructure Trump ignored by removing the tax cuts for the wealthy and returning the capital gains tax to reasonable levels. It shouldn't be a big deal and would create lots of real jobs to reduce the job losses under Trump.
badminton · 61-69, MVIP
I for one am very happy the government is finally making a serious investment in the nation's crumbling infrastructure and public transit. We need domestic improvements and human services, not wars.
I think the others in the bunker will kick him out into the snow after 10 minutes of his insufferable dithering BS @jackjjackson

@jackjjackson That's what your mom said about you last night.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Correct That’s exactly what my.mother would tell a jackass like you:

@LeopoldBloom
@jackjjackson Dude, your name is even "jackass."

I'll try to stick to single-syllable words from now on as my input here is clearly going over your head.
I guess you want the US to have the infrastructure of a third world nation? Interesting.
