What’s your definition of terrorism

I'd define it as a non-state actor offensively killing civilians for political or religious reasons [b]or[/b] killing government agents unprovoked for religious or political reasons.

I know this isn't super consistant with conventional definitions, but it just fits with what I'd normally refer to as terrorism.

I think the basic definition - the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims - is a fairly comprehensive description of terrorism.

Its primary purpose is that of intimidation, which, now that I think about it also describes one of my cats. So it's broad, but I think terrorism must include the elements of intimidation for gain in a political arena.

I'd say that it was any type of ongoing, debilitating fear.
