European political pundits are predicting the demise of the Anglo-American hegemony?

Given the severe over reaction to covid I agree the hegemony is a thing of the past. It has lost its nerve. Its will to exist. Its reason for being. Sadly it was built on Christian morals and principles that have fallen out fashion with the elites and opinion formers. Without such a foundation of rock hard principles society crumbles as it tries to muddle its way forward without ever standing for anything. Why did the Taliban win the Afghan war? They believed in their cause. The Americans and their fellow travelers did not have similar faith in their cause.
