Face it, Democrats, Joe Biden will wind up a lower-tier president.

It doesn't matter his intentions, whether he was "right" about something in the long run, or what's in his heart. Joe Biden will be a mostly forgotten president. No different than Jimmy Carter, Or George HW Bush. That's not saying Trump would have been better in a second term - clearly Biden was a better choice here - I'm just saying a pile of crap was replaced with a pile of rocks.
Biden is a better choice??? Tell that to the 13 Gold Star mothers of the servicemen that were killed last week in Afigistan.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow More bullschiff from a left-wing nut job. But then again, what do you expect from people who think killing babies is just a medical procedure
@sunsporter1649 More incoherent ravings from you as usual.
Neoerectus · M
@thedarkside Not good, but not as bad as the 2,500 sacrificed by R and D presidents over the last 20 years to try to band-aid "fix" a millenia's old society.
You’re probably not wrong. But like Carter & Bush Sr, Biden will eventually come to be liked and respected. Just like Carter came in the wake of Watergate, Biden had to clean up Trump’s mess.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@bijouxbroussard Democrats always have to clean up Republican messes. It is why they get elected.
You are probably right, I'm not very impressed with Biden, but he is head and shoulders better than the last guy.
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
That's why I voted for him. I rather a president who doesn't do much than a president who is trying to destroy the country.
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
@fernie2 I know, I'm just saying if he turns out to be an unimportant footnote in American history, that would be fine with me, because I prefer that to Trump's destruction of America.
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
@sunsporter1649 I wish that was true. I wish Biden actually was a radical left-wing Socialist.
@PrincessAwesome In the crazy political environment we live in I think we need to think before we speak/type.You said "I rather a president who doesn't do much" That is entirely different than "If he turns out to be an unimportant footnote..."
The man assigned to do a horrible
job, leading a country that is far behind the rest of the world, filled with a bunch of halfwheats that claim the election was stolen because they didn't like the outcome. I would be ashamed of my country if I was in his shoes.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@Thewhazzupdude
I would be ashamed of my country if I was in his shoes.
Joe is doing his best to destroy it! [America]
@Budwick Nope, the Trumpers did and do destroy it.
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
We elected a guy who spent much of his campaign in his basement. 🤷‍♀️
Pfuzylogic · M
@FreeSpirit1 But at least they didn’t roll over in laughter like when #BLM had trump hid in the White House Bunker from peaceful protests.
Pfuzylogic · M
Biden inherited problems far worse then HW Bush or Carter politically and I never expected him to make much real progress because of it.

Those guys actually had most of the country wanting them to succeed unlike today where there's substantial efforts to sabotage things regardless of the costs to the country.

Then there's Covid. I'm not going to say I think Biden is doing great, but he's hanging on and really does seem to be trying not to further divide the country.
BigBulge · 41-45, M
JESUS ! Give the poor guy a chance to prove himself.
@biandlargeny BLM emerged because people were tired of having to fear both the police and criminals. White supremacists call the police on folks for simply being black—jogging while black, barbecuing while black, etc. And not just blacks have been effected by Trump’s racism. Trump’s announcing that Latinos were “overrunning” the country prompted one of his supporters to murder 22 Mexican-Americans in El Paso.
biandlargeny · 56-60, M
@bijouxbroussard they were tired if taking responsibility for their actions. They thought with a black President they could talk back to cops. They thought they could break the laws.
@biandlargeny So you’re just another white supremacist, huh ? Figures. Bye, now.
Biden has been in office just under 2/3 of a year. Bit early to write his political obituary, don't you think?
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
Nobody expected otherwise tbh. He’s just a janitor, hired to clean up.
laotzu92 · 70-79, M
He is a man totally without character, an empty suit. Gerard Baker in the 9/6 Wall Street Journal concluded that in his piece "Does Joe Biden have any core principles?"
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@laotzu92 an absolute zero. To the point of treason.

He unconditionally surrendered to the Taliban, left them $80 billion worth of military equipment, and gave them the entirety of Afghanistam, leaving the fate oh millions at the mercy of confirmed butchers.
Heartlander · 80-89, M
Calling him a lower-tier president is giving him far too many at-a-boys. It looks more like he's trying to destroy America.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Heartlander Ironically, I would say that about his predecessor.
@Elessar and you'd be speaking the absolute truth!!
Pfuzylogic · M
He cleaned up the mess bush 43 left behind. Now he has to clean up from behind another one that snuck in because sh*t rises to the top in the Republican Party.
Graylight · 51-55, F
Face it, Troll.

The US presidency isn't a popularity contest.
cycleman · 61-69, M
if Trump was elected, Trust to Americans would diminish even further.
ididntknow · 51-55, M
@cycleman Have you any proof of that
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
cycleman · 61-69, M
@ididntknow gut intuition speaking to me.

Tells me more that America is beyond the most corrupt country and is never to be trusted. All the words every President has said concerning every foreign leader should be thrown right back and applied to every President 10 fold.
hunkalove · 61-69, M
Biden was chosen by the powers-that-be because he will do what he is told to do. He is a party hack and a corporate stooge bought and paid for long ago. A thousand times better than Trump but he will accomplish nothing as this pitiful broken country continues to fail.
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@hunkalove exactly my point.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
I think he will be remembered for restoring some decency and cleaning up the corruption and incompetence from that last guy, what's his name... the fat out-of-shape guy. He put America back on a better track. Sadly, that was no small task.

RedBaron · M
Why are you saying anything?
JohnOinger · 41-45, M
Your right
I mean, we all knew we were voting for the lesser of two evils. I'm just hoping one day will be able to vote someone in who isn't evil at all.
