You must be thinking of another President. Trump specifically, who said that the virus would disappear in 2020, no need for masks, it was just like the common cold, and no need for testing.
President Biden cautioned the country that the road ahead is rough, but we can get through it if take some precautions, and listen to science. You should heed that advice.
