@InOtterWords Yes. Because one by one, every minority will demand that offensive terms for them be made illegal. Including rednecks, Karens and Kens, WASPs, racists, homophobes, transphobes, etc., until you can't say anything rude about anyone.

That could get really messy because you could very likely get works by people like Mark Twain banned when the entire point of the work was a criticism of the evils of the day.
