Is Fox recognizing the Trump Cult is a cult?

Sure sounds like they see not only the separation from the Republican Party and but also strength they gather in opposition to the rest of the human race.

Will they drink kool aid or lash out?

And where is their prophet?

That's a scary proposition to have so many deluded people out there who believe lies while discarding easily verifiable fact. This will not end well.
GhostPoncho · 46-50, M
[@1157462,ididntknow] They are for reporting the truth. It’s not their fault the Republicans became an insurrectionist cult.
ididntknow · 51-55, M
[@903658,BelovedTed] do you really believe that
GhostPoncho · 46-50, M
[@1157462,ididntknow] Absolutely. I watch Fox and listen to right wing talk radio, too. That is shock propaganda. I’m not even a progressive, just a Moderate Dem. I call out the left all the time.
Lila15 · 18-21, F
[@113373,TexChik] Fox is losing viewers to Newsmax and OANN, but that's not going to put them out of business. It would be ironic if the exodus from Fox is why CNN is now the most watched network.

I wouldn't know as I don't have cable, so on the rare occasions when I watch TV news, it's either Newsy or the local news channel.
Lila15 · 18-21, F
[@113373,TexChik] Forbes is not socialist.

These are actual posts by Greene. Are you saying she's putting out socialist propaganda against herself?
Mindful · 51-55, F
[@422444,Lila15] supposedly a spy was caught working at Fox...
sunrisehawk · 61-69, M
I'm just curious, do you have to smoke or drink something to interpret the world in terms of hatred toward President Trump and those that support his policies?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
[@394395,CULTure] The explosion in cases happened before the variants were well established in the US. They may result in even larger increases in cases moving forward. The vaccines protect against the variants, but different vaccines provide different levels of protection. Depending on how the vaccines perform, and how the variants continue to emerge, it may be necessary to get a vaccine and a booster shot later that is tailored to the variants.
[@394395,CULTure] I think, as long as those of us 'opting out' on the vaccines for now, wear our masks in public and practice common sense hygiene in consideration of others. We will be fine. I want to see what happens to people before I get vaccinated.
Mindful · 51-55, F
I’ll let you know. I am on the list. I also know someone that got on the list but caught the COVID virus first[@3557,PuckyTheFriendlyTroll] she lives! Yay
MarkPaul · 22-25, M
Where is the very Rev. Jim Jones when he is needed the most?
Mindful · 51-55, F
[@339454,windinhishair] well said. But there has always been some voter fraud from both parties which is probably why T was so adamant that there was fraud. It’s not one sided.
MarkPaul · 22-25, M
[@8567,Mindful] How come he wasn't so adamant in 2016... AFTER he won?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
[@8567,Mindful] There are always a couple of people who vote and shouldn't, but not in numbers that have any impact on the election results. Those are generally spread out among all voter groups.
Stereoguy · 56-60, M
When Murdock bought Fox News they turned left. His viewership is falling fast and his conservative ad revenue is dropping too. Now we'll have to see if the left will buy advertising space with them or has Fox been permanently branded a conservative site and no matter who owns it it won't matter to liberal advertisers. Maybe they should rename it FoxCNN.
Stereoguy · 56-60, M
[@3557,PuckyTheFriendlyTroll] That's like I have never done or tried drugs, but I own pot stock's. I have no problems profiting from it.
jackj · 56-60, M
I think he meant a “fired Ailes” [@479686,MistyCee]
[@78387,Stereoguy] Yeah..... I was just yanking your chain buddy!
GhostPoncho · 46-50, M
They recently got rid of a lot of their news reporters, so I don’t think so.
Northwest · M
I think that Murdoch had a come to God moment, and did some soul searching following the Trump post election behavior.

Then he concluded that the right thing to do, in light of all the data indicating that Fox viewers are switching to more radical disinformation sources, is to take a hard turn to the extreme right.

That should bring back from some of the viewers.
[@9416,Northwest] I haven't seen that hard turn quite so clearly yet, but my guess is, it's likely more subtle than just a hard turn "to the right."

Is Trumpism/Populist/Conspiracy/Jewish Space laser stuff what he's moving towards or against?
Northwest · M
[@479686,MistyCee] You should take a look at foxnews.com. I don't think they've adopted the space laser yet, but there's room for that.
[@9416,Northwest] I subscribe to its RSS feed, but haven't looked at the site itself in a long time.

I think they recognized that the Trump cult was a cult a long time ago but Trump was good for ratings so they gave the cult what they wanted to hear and they will keep doing that. Cheers and happy weekend
[@1157462,ididntknow] Yeah, I wrote a long, hyperbolically animated, and neurotic rant about how much I hope and pray that I look like a complete idiot in two years, and we are leading the world to clean energy paradise, and a unified Utopia of ecstatic economic bliss! Who wouldn't want that? [c=#003BB2]AFFECTUS SUPER LOGICAM [/c] Emotion over Logic.........idealism over realism. I suppose this sounds like CYNICISM, but it is actually objectivism. LOL
[c=#BF0000]You see what happens to me? [/c] [c=#003BB2]Don't judge too harshly, it ain't no picnic looking through these eyes.[/c]
Mindful · 51-55, F
Cute[@3557,PuckyTheFriendlyTroll] just that everyone’s perception of reality... is different.
[@8567,Mindful] Freud and Jung would both have had a field day with this emotion clogged atmosphere, and the reasons for it.
Someone can be predominantly collectivist, and another can be predominantly individualist, and the two can have everything in common, yet dangerously hate each other for those two differences alone.
Nanoose · 61-69, M
Ya I don't think they will drink the kool aid because they seem more like they are into magic mushrooms and they won't lash out because it would not be good for ratings. As far as were their profit is he is probably in the mar a lago game room playing Hungry Hunger Hippos all by himself. Cheers and happy weekend!
[@949238,Nanoose] The Cubensis are thick as thieves down here during the rainy season. Have you ever pulped them in raw honey and sat them in the sunshine? It turns into this beautiful blue nectar that is really good for whatever ails ya!
Nanoose · 61-69, M
[@3557,PuckyTheFriendlyTroll] Not sure what type of mushroom that is if it is a magic mushroom I wouldn't do it. We have all kinds of edible mushrooms here on Vancouver island but the only ones I can recognise is Pine mushrooms. Cheers and happy weekend!
[@949238,Nanoose] I was born in Everett Washington, across the water and into the sound.
Dan88411 · 31-35, M
I think anyone who doesn't see that by now is clearly blind.
Budwick · 70-79, M
Sounds to me like Mister Cee is trying hard to add yet another word to the long list of nasty things to call her political opponents.

Lets see we've been labeled;
deplorables,
racists,
bigots,'
homophobes,
xenophobes,
Trumpkins,
Trumpinista,
misogynist,
traitors,
seditionists,
insurrectionists,
white supremacists,
white nationalists,
nazis,
tyrants,
dictators,
sexist,
Islamophobic ,
offensive,
mean-spirited,
hateful,
divisive,
etc.

Is this the leftist concept of unification?
Or, is the left hell bent on further dividing the country,
ginning up more hatred and anger, maybe sparking a 'civil war' that could justify martial law and finally driving a stake through the heart of America>

carpediem · 61-69, M
[@841775,Budwick] Only the results for them get better and better. The more they whine, the more censorship flourishes, the cancel culture kicks in, and the country divides even further. That's what the end game is in my opinion. Divide the people, control the country. It's happening before our eyes.
akindheart · 61-69, F
trump is golfing near me. and who cares about Fox? I don't watch them anymore as they got more and more leftist
Stereoguy · 56-60, M
[@18045,akindheart] Exactly!
TexChik · F
[@18045,akindheart] they are realizing their market share is decreasing by the day
akindheart · 61-69, F
[@113373,TexChik] absolutely. once they shifted left, it was over for them.
