There are so many "self owns" coming out of the Trump movement, whether it's DC rioters outing themselves, or Rudy setting himself up for a billion dollar lawsuit, or people trying to convince their own side not to avoid covid or take the vaccine, I really do wonder if some of them are paid actors. The peak idiocy is staggering

Yeah, if a business wants to be profitable, they do not chase dollars out the door for silly reasons.
Money talks, BS walks.

Right, in fact the smartest thing a political movement can do is siphon all the money away from their political opponents businesses, not lock themselves out of the market lol.
Honestly, I really do hope this idea gathers steam and a bunch of idiots try it. They are going to find out how the free market works and how fast word-of-mouth about atrocious customer experience spreads real quick

@plungesponge If I owned a business, I would LOVE it if my competition was refusing to serve a sector of the population.
More money for me :D

"Not a great legal mind". His words, not mine. The terms of service for being a congressman or senator in the USA is simply spelled out in the oath of office. What this guy is suggesting goes contrary to that. Sounds to me like a percent of the country have become Trump zombies. Only problem is that they're eating their own brains!

Totally contrary to all republican ideals. They can't call themselves republicans now for certain. 🤷♂️

lets all flag him..true cancel culture..in the comments they called him MR BILL😷

I actually hope he spreads this idea to the whole Trump movement. The dude is a Manchurian candidate at this point

@plungesponge might work in Buttswank Arkansas where there are no Biden voters....much less so in a real town

@plungesponge lol. I just had a conversation last night with someone discussing the Manchurian Candidate angle. It's eerily on target.

Hey, have you tried getting a plumber or electrician lately? They're nearly impossible to book an appointment with. This could potentially collapse our entire economy! 😆
I saw that someone actually formed the MAGA Patriot Party. Supposedly, it's not affiliated with the Trump campaign. Yet. lol. I hope he gets on board with it. It will be interesting to see how many people will flee the Republican party and join MAGA.

I think we might be witnessing the end of Republican party. Trump can form a big splinter group of low-information, conspiracy-fuelled voters, and then I suspect regular Republican voters would get drawn into a new Lincoln Project type party that might form, even as the current Republican party flails wildly between supporting Trump and denouncing him

@plungesponge Absolutely agree. I think this would be the best thing to happen to the Republican party in years. It would become a party filled with a more moderate pov again, rather than the Tea Party extremists viewpoint that has taken it over. I'd be more inclined to switch back to it from my current Independent status.
I like it:)
