@MistyCee Amusing how the left claims no voter fraud when they win an election, but cry foul when they lose

@PainfulTruth Had the same thing in Ft. Lauderdale
fddlpej · 61-69, M
That is the only way they can win and not funding education is another way.
graphite · 61-69, M
Without voter fraud, could a Democrat candidate ever hope to win the presidency?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@LeopoldBloom bullschiff
@sunsporter1649 So you're against a national ID, but want voters to present an ID to vote. Kind of a contradiction there, sport?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@LeopoldBloom You need a government issued id to venture on an airplane, eh? And not a Federal Government id, a State issued id. But apparently voting is not as important as riding on an airplane
CV19 should make the whole voter suppression/fraud debate a lot more interesting.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
Yes... and your problem with that is........? America has to be run by the right people.. Thats not something you can leave to chance. or to voters.
@sunsporter1649 You don't apply for it, they just send it to you, same as the Bush stimulus after 9/11.

Yeah, right, I'm sure you'll shred it or send it back.

Of course you'll vote for Trump, you're a cult member. He could show up at your house, shoot your wife in the head and fuck the bullet hole right in front of you, and you'd thank him for the honor.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@LeopoldBloom Don't bogart that joint
@sunsporter1649 How can I? You won't let go of it.

Angel dust isn't healthy, by the way. You need to give up the sherm, bro.
Yes, definitely. When the Republicans “won” by taking the teeth out of the Voters’ Rights Act, they called it “the will of the people”. If in simply providing voters a way of voting that keeps them safe they choose Democrats this time, wouldn’t that also be their will ? 🤔
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@bijouxbroussard I read somewhere once that voter suppression and gerrymandering means that Democrats need a 7% swing just to be on the level with them. That's one hell of a handicap going into any election.
RouynRemy · 26-30, M
Republicans are the enemies of a truly free election. So glad I live in Canada.
@sunsporter1649 They call that "stolen valor." If you were in the Marines, then I am Donald Duck.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@LeopoldBloom Hello Donald
@sunsporter1649 OK, you were a pogue.
Repubs should try vote harvesting like the Dems ey?

RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Ah , like in North Carolina you mean ? By Republicans.
Budwick · 70-79, M
Humphrey - there's so much wrong in your thinking.
Was this supposed to be a joke?
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@Budwick Ask Trump ...... he's the one who said it.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
“This will be extremely devastating to Republicans and conservatives in Georgia,” Ralston, a Republican from Blue Ridge, said during an interview with FetchYourNews, a North Georgia news site. “Every registered voter is going to get one of these. … This will certainly drive up turnout.”
That's such a strange thing to say.
Mrbeast52 · 31-35, M
@QuixoticSoul I don't know what that's referring to but it's not a strange thing thing to say

@PainfulTruth Yep. Franken trailed and trailed and then - presto! - suddenly had enough votes to "win."
Mrbeast52 · 31-35, M
We aren't a democracy though
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@LvChris I respect this sort of dedication to pedantry tbh.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@Mrbeast52
that's a twenty dollar word you threw out there I'm just farm hand sooo I'll have to google it but I'm assuming you're saying that my thought process isn't correct but if the past four years let alone the past three months have shown us no one knows what the fuck can happen
Orthogonal in this context just means unrelated. Some people really do want to see the electoral college abolished, and it might even happen (though we're more likely to see a shift to proportional assignment of electoral college votes) - but that wouldn't make our democracy any more direct.
Mrbeast52 · 31-35, M
@QuixoticSoul I just believe changing it is dangerous and that the system we have is warped but still fixable
