No, Sens. McConnell and Cotton, no.

It was not a "partisan impeachment" that left the country more vulnerable to covid-19. It was the partisan, orchestrated acquittal that left the country more vulnerable. That's some top tier blame shifting to ease your own consciences. I'm sure it'll play well with the people who would already march in lockstep off a cliff if Trump told them to, but those are not the voters you should be trying to get right now.

Jesus Christ. If the earth opened up and swallowed the Capitol Building whole, those douchebags would blame it on Democratic politicians who are just trying to do their job.

@SmartKat Tell me how you really feel 😏

That's a very creative narrative. I bet Kellyanne came up with it.

neither partisan impeach nor the partisan acquittal left the country more vulnerable. Stupidity by both sides did.

@QuixoticSoul I'm having a hard time finding enough instances from Dems to warrant giving them equal billing for the Trump Pandemic.

@daisymay My point is that it's not always equal billing. The administration fucked this up, spectacularly. They're the ones driving the bus.

@QuixoticSoul Yes, which is why I take issue with @lori04f claiming that "both sides" made us more vulnerable to COVID-19 infection.
