Just think of the tax breaks after you've gone.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
That's not what Brexit is, but...
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@MarkPaul OK angry dude, what is Brexit?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Burnley123 OMG! Are you kidding me... I'm not angry. Look, I will give you a peck of credit and believe in good faith you know what Brexit is. The misguided idea of pulling the UK out of the European Union for some romanticized hallucination of how great life used to be back in the day is no where near the simple decision of announcing you are leaving SW... only to reappear less than 1 hour later. Damn!
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@MarkPaul Of course I know what Brexit is and I've posted my views on here.

I don't often compliment you but tbf you understand Brexit pretty well.
There is literally no consequences for leaving this dump. Go for it.
oh you silly man! you ferocious Wag!
bravo
i feel the same way here in the old colonies
@Burnley123 At this point in our history it would not be a hostile British invasion. It would be a rescue mission. Believe me, it would be a rescue mission.

SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Burnley123 Oh wow for the first time ever sarcasm actually went over my head, usually I'm the one that majors in that. No fair. I just emailed you and seriously thought you were leaving lmao :P
@Burnley123 oh gosh that would be swell! the television coveradge could be more like sports.
curiosi · 61-69, F
That was good, thanks for the laugh.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@curiosi I got the idea from a post by @strawberries.

🤔 Why's this seem familiar?
rckt148 · 61-69, M
Grow a pair and quit acting like a child
Play my way or i'll take my ball and go home

**Sets you're ball on fire ,,NOW go home ****
I suppose that might happen, but it's more likely the SW union would just go on being the SW union and let you flounder around out there.
rckt148 · 61-69, M
@Mamapolo2016 You know I am playing I Hope ,,
I am in a good mood today
The cripple is almost finished with another house ,,they said I was unable to rebuild
When you're doctors say they don't know how you even walk and you should be in a wheel chair ,,doing major construction proves who is still in charge
and its not me ,,so I am a little silly today ..it feels good its almost done
but there is no way I could keep doing it everyday ,not even to supervise
People tried to help me on this job
cutting out and redoing all the crap they did wrong ,I wish they hadn't helped ,,that is what I would deal with every day if I supervised
I would still end up doing the work
But I am very proud of what I have done ,,looks as good as an mansion I have ever built ,just not as big
I'd like to see a pic ...of the house.@rckt148
rckt148 · 61-69, M
@Mamapolo2016 I am a fool when it comes to pics
I no longer use a cell phone since my ex used my smart phone to cheat on me
but my son in law uses one ,,there are no before pics ,,but I will see if I can't get one before I texture and paint ,and the completed job ,and share it with you
When people ask for references ,,(when I needed one )
I let them call my builders ,,or take them to see other houses I built
never was one for taking pics
I have a Kodak camera with the last 3 trips my ex and I took back in the 90's
the film is still in it ,,I was told its still good as long as it hasn't been exposed ,,but my kids bought me a single cd ,,its called who need pictures with a memory like mine ,,

We think alike
windinhishair · 61-69, M
Maybe you can call for an election on SW. Or not. Or a new vote. Or not. Whatever you do, it will happen.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@RodionRomanovitch Thanks and we will need it. My free time for the next month just disappeared.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Burnley123 I know. It is frustrating even to those of us on the other side of the pond to see every potential "solution" voted down. Even the "no solution" solution.
rckt148 · 61-69, M
@windinhishair 😂🤗
I think in order to do a proper Brexit you need to have funny hair. You also need to be daft.

adorbz · 26-30, F
sometimes SW needs a retweet equivalent button

pin it to your profile instead 😅
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@adorbz Maybe lol.
Ironicman · 56-60, M
Burnley,... Burnley,... BURNLEY! Wake Up Burnley.

There, there, there Burnley - you see, its all been a bad, bad dream.
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
Burnley we will have a sw referendum to see if you leave or remain ,
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Nyloncapes Indeed. And we should send the results to ten downing Street. They'd have to accept. 😜
Northwest · M
Are you trying to get adopted by Trump?
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Northwest We Brits are good at copying America's worst ideas but this time we are breaking new ground all by ourselves. I'm proud.
KatyB · F
Think of the £39 billion divorce payment you'll save to SW?
Think that you can control who comes into your life after you leave?
You'll also be able to kick those out that drain you dry!
Think that you'll be in complete control of your own affairs after you leave?
So many bonuses, no drawbacks.
You'll still be able to get your China and Indian manufactured medicine, and especially the British made specialist medicine that we export to SW.
You'll be free to join any other social network without being held back by SW.
You won't have to adopt SW's currency.
You won't have to join SW's army.
You won't have to bail out SW when they run out of money.
You know what, only a fool would want to stay...
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@KatyB Many bonuses and no drawbacks? This sounds too good to be true...

The main pro Brexit econonist predicts farming and manufacturing will die off because of Brexit. The other economists are much less optimistic.
KatyB · F
@Burnley123 Who knows, eh? But we survived for hundreds of years perfectly fine without the EU. In fact, we ran 1/4 of the globe. Manufacturing has already died off BECAUSE of the EU! Remember that they paid countries to undercut wages, to remove our ability to build stuff. Companies went abroad to maximise profits.

Besides project fear has been in overdrive for so long now, that most of us don't believe a word anyone says any longer!!
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@KatyB We will survive Brexit but survival is a pretty low bar. The bank of England is a political body and George Osborne is dishonest. With that, I'd definately agree.

What I don't agree with is dismissing the work of academic economists. Patrick Minford is pro Brexit and wants to turn Britain into a free market tax haven based on the service sector and the City of London. Maybe some people want that (though I woukd strongly disagree). To say Brexit has no cost though, is a step beyond and total fantasy.
