He didn't have the majority vote in 2015, didn't have it at mid term, doesn't have it now, and when he is impeached, even if he isn't removed from office, he wont have it on November 3, 2020. Hopefully there will be no interference from Foreign countries, (eg) Over 30 Russian indictments and Roger Stone number 6 of Trump associates being found guilty. "Cant beat him in 2020" ? Or will we be voting for 'Premier Trump' for a lifetime position ?

@softspokenman I am a nationalist, I don't want foreign nations influencing our government. There wasn't anything with Russia that was a criminal offense, I don't think there is anything in the current impeachment proceedings that will be illegal or immoral or worth discussing even. I am alarmed that we don't have a nationwide voter ID law because I don't think foreign nationals illegally in our country should be able to influence elections either. I feel more threatened by the current crop of politicians than I do by a foreign country at the moment.

@CopperCicada The last one they impeached was Andrew Johnson. The last two they tried were Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton. All three involved their private lives after hours. (In today's paper just this morning.)

@Roadsterrider Details noted. What I heard about that time (1973) was that if Nixon HADN'T resigned,they were going to try starting impeachment proceedings. Nobody got that far before he resigned.

The vote coming up Thursday is for continuing the impeachment inquiry, and will give the committees subpoena power that Trump and AG Barr have been arguing isn't applicable without a full-blown inquiry. The vote will come in a few months, with specific articles of impeachment. It may well include information from a Giuliani indictment.

@monte3 Zaid, the lawyer for the "whistle blower" tweeted in Jan 2017 before Trump took office that the coup was in place and impeachment would follow. Zaid also represented the woman who provided all the non information for the dossier on Russian collusion after she received $400K from HRC campaign. And she was a friend of the whistle blower, he assisted her in multiple visits to the white house. It seems clear that the goal of democrats in office has been to stop any action by the president and Al Green from TX stated it most accurately and truthfully, we have to impeach him now because we can't beat him in 2020.

Well, I suppose you could explain it like this. The people who want to run for president on the Democrat side are clowns who don't know they are clowns,which is really twice as funny, when you think about it.
Biden has brain damage for real, which is not funny of course, but the things he says just crack me up, and his delivery is pretty funny, too.
Corey Booker is an enormous clown. I can't take Spartacus and his veggie burgers seriously at all.
Pocahontas almost seems normal when you watch her in the rallies, but then you remember that she probably has won 1st prize for the number of lies she has told about her own history, and she is still doing it. Then you just KNOW she is lying when she promises you a 34 trillion dollar health plan but refuses to admit that the taxes for the middle class won't go up.
You've got 1970's crystal hippies like Maryanne Williams who really say things out in public like, "I am going to defeat Donald Trump with LOVE", and she doesn't even know she is being funny!
What the Dems REALLY need before they start throwing away their money in 2024 some common sense...but I don't hold out much hope of that.

@Roadsterrider Your true colors are showing again. Obama did very well. Unemployment went from 10% to 4% under his leadership. If not, then we would not be at 3.5% today in 2019. So like lets be logical and fair here today. And again no more contradicting yourself. Please. 🙂

@Zonuss If you just now saw "my colors" you weren't looking, they are conservative and patriotic and there has been no action to hide anything about the way I think or feel. You may not want to admit Trump is doing a better job than Obama but the indicators are all pointing to that, there isn't a riot every weekend. The nation is less divided. People are happier.

Most people don't pay for anything without expecting something in return. It's hard to see what Hunter Biden had to give in return. So what was the expected payback?

@Graylight I can only base my opinion on what I see, I travel as a field rep from SC up to Michigan and as far west as Memphis. The industry I am in isn't limited to conservatives or a particular economic sector, I don't see anyone carrying a torch for the democrat candidates. I see plenty of Trump signs and stickers, I think to date I have seen 1 bumper sticker for Bernie Sanders. There are definitely less support for the democrats than this time in 2016. Never in my life have I seen more persons of color supporting a republican candidate.
