Well nobody wanted the Jews so he had to kill them. I say it's everybody's fault
SW-User
It is good to see that you have put a lot of thought into this.
FurryFace · 61-69, M
he wanted total global dictatorship but the world wasn't having it
SW-User
It's obvious you haven't done your research.

Who do you think ordered the round up of the Jews and killing them "in a really horrific way?"

Please, do some reading about his rise to power, the scientific experiments he ordered performed on innocent people, the entire history of his regime along with what his "final solution" was about.

His actions were that of a man who was completely insane and evil.
pikminboy · 26-30, M
@SW-User I didnt knew he did 'scientific experiments' .. thats insane.
Anybody who wants to conquer countries that don't feel like conquering them is necessary, has evil intentions.

Was Hitler evil? Do you think he didn't know about the medical experiments (surgery without anesthetic, etc) and cooking down Jewish extracted teeth for the gold? About the millions of human beings being murdered (it wasn't in combat, you know).

Yeah. He was an evil madman who led other evil madmen and madwomen.

He's certainly not the only evil madman who has led a country.

I do not. But my answer to who started ww2 is not anyone else’s.

Hitler was evidence the pure evil exists on earth. His "grandeur vision" included the Holocaust, and he had it carried out to the best of his ability.
Rokasu · 36-40, M
Wow dude.

Pretty sure anyone who willingly takes another’s life, regardless of hows it’s planned out, is automatically defined as evil.
Northwest · M
I am having trouble figuring out what you're trying to say.. Are you translating from some other language?
Graylight · 51-55, F
Learn about the Holocaust before discussing it. How his rose to power included decades of legal discrimination, how people lost their occupations, fortunes, homes and friends long before imprisonment began, or how not only Jews but gay people, professors, Gypsies and any other dissenters were rounded up and killed.

Hitler could have been a saint to everyone he knew, but that wiping out 12 million people after imprisonment, torture and medical experimentation kind of stuck with him.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
Yes he was evil, a grand vision doesn’t change that if the grand vision is evil, and the Americans had very little to do with his defeat.
You sit back in the comfort of your home asking such an asinine question - you should be ashamed of yourself. If you lived in 1940's Germany, German or Jew you would have no problem answering this stupid ass question. They say there are no dumb questions only dumb answers - well you did it , you shit out a fucken dumb question. Congrats.

No
he got carried away
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@butterflymind1 No he didn't. His overarching plans predate his rise to power.
@QuixoticSoul Do you think he was born evil?
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@butterflymind1 No. Just went bad along the way somewhere.

Do you seriously think it’s okay to ask questions like this?

Hitler led a political party and then a whole formerly democratic country into violence, hatred and war. He dismantled the German constitution, defined one group of citizens as a “superior race” the world belonged to, and another group of their fellow human beings as vermin to be exterminated.

He governed by a calculated campaign of censorship, lies and propaganda. He eliminated all free speech and the freedom of the press as part of maintaining absolute power. 73 million people died in his global war, in which he intended to establish a race-based fascist dictatorship that would last for 1000 years. Instead, he left his country in bombed out ruins, with more than 1 in 10 of its citizens dead by 1945. The 6 million Jews, disabled people, gypsies, LGBT and others who were mass murdered in his concentration camps included nearly every member of my grandparents’ family. it took six years and the combined might and courage of much of the rest of the world to stop him.

When you treat this history casually, or minimize any part of what and who Hitler was, you make the return of the evil he represented more possible.

@MrBrownstone You are making a point no one disagrees with and loudly declaring it as if it’s a meaningful revelation instead of utterly obvious. Why?
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@OggggO If more people would use critical thinking atrocities would never happen.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@MrBrownstone That doesn’t follow.
