Well said by him. I saw him in NYC a few years ago. His presence will catch your attention. A big man in stature. Good luck to him!

Good riddance. He was an opinion guy masquerading as a news guy.

@eli1601 He respected the truth. 🙂

@Zonuss 😂
I'm not sure what you're getting at, exactly, but my guess is Fox is still struggling with its identity after the loss of Roger Ailes and how to keep its viewers both during and possibly after the Trump presidency.

My guess is Smith will be replaced with someone like Megyn Kelly (if not her) who will pitch a few real facts without getting as confrontational with the Opinion crew as Smith did.
@eli1601 Ahh. That I really do think I see.

I never saw the State TV thing with Fox as much with Bush, though, nor did there seem to be as much whiplash between News and opinion, for whatever it's worth.

@MistyCee I dunno. I think the big 3 cable networks are gonna team up and do everything in their power to destroy this empire in ways you cannot conceive. Stay tuned. 🙂
@Zonuss Maybe, but their owners are going to need to see some profit in it to go for it and they're going to want to get Fox viewers

Sorry to hear that the division is separating just a little bit more. :(

I hate all this separation, division and pulling to either side when we as country really do need just the facts without all the embellishments and distractions coming from both sides. And yes, I have noticed it's from both sides.

I don't like it anymore coming from the left or right. And the pure commercialism coming from either side makes it all that much more worse.

How many remember when programs like 60 minutes or Nightline really did some serious in-depth reporting?

Look at either programs now! They are not even a shadow of what they were. Nothing but minor crimes, celebrities and sports figures.

It's all so sad to me. 😥

I thought he was the best of a bad lot.

I believe in what you say. I saw it in Fox, years ago and refused to participate. As far as Shep, I have no tears. He freaking made 15 million a year as an agent of the CIA and will again :)

@Zonuss While he and I had very little in common, I have to agree he is a very smart guy. For 15 mil a year, he knew exactly what he was doing. :)

@Oster1 I do not care about how much money he has made. It is more important to recognize how significant these changes are in a place that many assumed was political motivated only. I think this is slowly becoming a thing of the past. Because blind allegiance is lethal. 🙂

@Zonuss I could not agree more:)
