Lizzy Warren: “I Was Just Never Very Political,” explaining her Republican years.

In her closing comments in tonight's debate, Sen. Lizzy Warren touted a friendship she struck up with a Bush 41 appointee many years ago, claiming he was conservative but she was very liberal.

But, by her own admission, Lizzy was a REPUBLICAN until 1996!

She told Politico this April that "I Was Just Never Very Political" in trying to explain her Republican years. She's 70 now, so until age 47 she was just "never very political." Then, all of a sudden, she discovered she's a liberal and later ran for the U.S. Senate.

She claims she voted for only one Republican nominee for president: Gerald Ford.

If you believe her "I was a RINO" excuse, I have a bridge in Crimea to sell you.

let me see the deed. I assume it's a one owner bridge. All that tells me it's maybe she came to her senses in'96.

And now she thinks she should be president.

You know what the say about religious converts: that they're the most zealous. Often true with politics, too.
