Why do people hate "SJWs" so much?

@Emosaur You've accidentally proven my point: conservatives call anyone to the left of them an "SJW" because it's a scary buzzword that ultimately means nothing. What is so wrong and harmful about their beliefs? Most of the so called "scary beliefs" people claim "SJWs" have basically boil down to "bigotry is bad", and if that's what you consider "objectively wrong and harmful", then yikes...

@Emosaur They don't though. Very few people actually hate all white/straight/cis people. Some people will use hyperbole and claim that, but it's obviously tongue in cheek. Also, how is 3rd wave feminism misandry, pray tell?

@Emosaur Look, pal... you're talking to an actual woman here. Those things are more common then you think, and do disproportionately affect women, especially women of color, which, oops, I am. Maybe not manspreading, but you're definitely mansplaining feminism as it is. And that's a gross oversimplification too. Modern feminists campaign against the wage gap, against FGM in both foreign and domestic countries, as well as issues that specifically concern queer women and women of color. Do some research into what we actually believe before dissing us.

I don't consider the concept of men explaining things to women sexist, but men explaining sexism to women? Definitely. Furthermore, the wage gap is not a myth, and if you genuinely believe it is you're even dumber than I thought. I could debunk the rest of your points, point out prejudice plus power and whatnot, but you clearly aren't willing to listen, so why bother? I do like how offended you got over me suggesting you might be sexist though, thanks for the laugh. Getting needlessly defensive over such accusations is usually a sign that they're correct.
