Every large city in Texas has been with the exception of the capital, Austin. They've pushed the blacks out into the burbs.

@AMERICA1ST No, there are blacks and mexicans living in Austin but the percentage is far less than in any other city in the state. It's the capital so many high income people who do business there. But in cities like Dallas the mexicans have pushed the blacks out. Brownsville is like 98-99% mexican and El Paso is probably roughly the same or close. But those are border cities. Blacks in those cities are more rare than whites, and both whites and blacks are usually not from there but have moved there to work. I lived in Brownsville for 10 years for work. They didn't have many nurses there.

Better not say, they may try to come here

@MarineBob They'll find you, not to worry. It was just 20-30 years ago that we in the southwest were pretty much the only ones dealing with illegals and now they're everywhere.

@AMERICA1ST You know when you don't recognize your own town I can understand how discombobulating that can be and I sympathize. Here in Texas we've had a long history with Mexicans and we get along. We've been intermarrying forever and many Texans have Hispanic ancestry. After all when Texas fought for and won independence from mexico it was Mexicans and anglos who fought side by side. What we see here is the left trying to create division where none existed before. I hope it doesn't take hold but they need a new demographic in order to survive politically in the future.
