No AR 15 was used in this mass murder

Nevertheless 10 people are dead and 15 are injured in a native community south east of Prince Albert Saskatchewan. The perpetrators are still at large and the emergency alert system was activated yesterday in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba. Unconfirmed reports say that the vehicle they were driving was seen in Regina Saskatchewan. One of those charged with murder was unlawfully at large.

What's wild is these attacks happened in 13 different locations. Authorities believe that some of the stabbings were targeted, while others were picked at random. It's hard to make sense of why someone would do something like this.

The spree started at about 5:40 in the morning out there, so I imagine a lot of people were asleep when these guys broke into their homes. It's clear these are two very sick individuals who wanted to cause as much carnage as they could.

Thank goodness people like this weren't able to get their hands on an AR-15. Someone in that mindset could have easily caused more fatalities

@TinyViolins Native reserves such as this one have a different set of gun laws as compared to the rest of Canada. There likely were lots of rifles in the homes that the two evil doers entered. We Canadians tend to be a trusting lot.

@RodionRomanovitch In Canada you have to keep you guns under lock and key. Ever heard of a firearms safe? The rifle in one the bolt in another and that ammo in a third. By the time you get your rifle out of one you would be dead.

There is nothing in stone that says mass killings must be such because a firearm was used. Hopefully these two are captured alive.

Latest breaking news now has it that one of the suspects is actually a victim. He was stabbed by his brother and his body was just recently discovered. That means that 11 people were killed and 15 were injured.
