What if: USA influenced Ukraine so that Russia attacks, resulting in more countries to join NATO?

Viper · M
Interesting theory, but it doesn't make sense.

1) Sweden and Finland, while not officially part of NATO, have already been working with joint NATO training mission practice for decades. They've basically been unofficial members, making them official members doesn't change much, and it looks like Turkey is going to block them from becoming official members. So absolutely nothing seems to be changing on that front.

2) I don't think anyone knew for sure that Russia's army would end up looking so weak. I think people truely thought Ukraine would be losing half to all of their country... and so far, while extremely damage is happening... it seems like Russia is going more backwards as of late.

3) Did USA influence Ukraine? I feel like Ukraine wanted to be a part of the EU more than USA...
Why would that be in the interests of America??? If Russians aren't above poisoning people who they see as deserters... they won't be above doing the same to US politicians, too.

Also Russia has a habit of hiding nuclear explosions - which will hurt America, along with the rest of the world. What's the president going to eat when everything is irradiated???

If Russia's attack was properly planned, Don't you think that Pootin would have put more effort into training his forces??? The best way to look good is by actually winning the war that you started in the first place.

US needed a battleground and a shoulder to start a war against Russia, and Zelenskyy provided that. Ultimately Ukrainians will be at loss. They would have not gained so much by joining NATO that much they have lost now.

Some truth about NATO.
