@HijabaDabbaDoo why did I not make the connotation before writing that 😶

@HannibalAteMeOut Check this out.
I was gonna post it under my "Next time on the real housewives of SW" thread I had going on and still might.
I know not everyone will appreciate it but I for one found it hilarious. As did everyone I've shown irl.

@HijabaDabbaDoo OH MY GAWD THAT'S AWESOME! What brings you to the gulf?
HijabaDabbaDoo · F
@CountScrofula a wedding in Oman and Abu Dhabi is just for fun. I feel like I deserve it after the intensity of this course I've been doing

How is it being away for those things?
HijabaDabbaDoo · F
@Straylight With Eid and Ramadan it felt weird at first because I wasn't around anyone who celebrated it or even knew of it, except one guy from Oman but he was awkward af and there's only so many times I can pretend to enjoy a conversation. He made some specific Omani dish. I was interested in it so I asked him what it was and he gave me a brief description before leaving. I remember looking at the American girl like, was it something I said? And because she's known him longer she told me he didn't really speak to anyone but this one Brazilian guy who, by the way was so damn hot, Oof. When we were alone in the elevator I think I got pregnant from his oxygen.
Anyway, I digress.
The people I befriended made me feel good about it though. I didn't celebrate it the traditional way but I still celebrated.
With Christmas, we usually do a family meal and celebrate it with an elderly family friend who's the cutest but we can always rearrange it to the 1st of January.

@HijabaDabbaDoo I’m glad you still got to do something, even if it’s not what you usually would.
And congrats on your elevator oxygen baby. 😳
