@DrWatson I was just going to mention rocky beaches! I love those, too. There is a particularly fine place to sit and watch rainbows caused by the fine spray breaking against the rocks, on the way to Hammond Castle in Gloucester, Massachusetts. It's a park of some sort, and you have to hike a bit and then rock hop to get to the water.

In Plymouth, Massachusetts, there is another beach, called Ellis Harbor, very rocky with little round stones, and mostly deserted, where you have to hike in a long way from the road, and go down a little rope swing to the marsh, and follow the trail up across the sand dunes...and suddenly...there it is...your own ALMOST private beach.

If you fail to bring water with you...it is a LONG walk back to the car...because you may only park legally out near Rte 3A.

@SW-User you have to know which beaches to go to here and times of day…some get filled with tourists but I know the quiet spots 🥰
