Idk what it is, but as a kid I always wanted cool shoes but only got 1 pair each year. So I learned to take extremely good care of my shoes to keep them looking nice for as long as possible 😂 I think my brain still won't let me ruin any shoes lol
@Nadie can't go wrong with black shoes 👌 I actually stayed away from white shoes for sooo long because I got some white Vans in 6th grade & they got stepped on the first day & never got clean again 😭 traumatized me fr lol. Barely bought my first white shoes a year ago 🙏
@ChiefJustWalks Are they still white? 👀 I have a pair of white Doc Martens that I keep in bags because I'm terrified they'll collect dust since I rarely wear them. 🤣
Good for you. My brother is the same way. He's had some pairs of shoes for 10 years, still as white as the day he bought them. I don't know how he does it.
@HijabaDabbaDoo since my younger days, I've mastered the art of stepping carefully without looking awkward 😂 They're slightly creased but not very noticeable 👌
I usually wear a pair for a couple years but nope can't relate. I barely clean my shoes. They're sitting in a corner of the room extremely dirty as I speak.
@Lilymoon i just dab the white foxing down with a washcloth. & If the canvas gets dirty then I wet the spot & wipe it with detergent. I've only had to do that to these once though for a tiny spot.
Mostly, my secret is never getting them dirty to begin with 😅
@ChiefJustWalks yeah I bought some nice runners but the more you wear them the more dirty they get lmao....I'm considering trying the washing machine since they are canvas shoes
@Lilymoon my siblings used to wash theirs in the washing machine 😅 idk if any of them still do. I always preferred doing it by hand.for some reason. It feels more controlled I guess
