Photos from the farmers market

Today's venture into the market, with the bright light, low in the sky, gave me opportunity to capture some of the beautiful produce.

The bottom picture looks like chou-fleur but is it really violet?? 馃槼
Never seen anything like that before...

[edit sorry cauliflower not chou-fleur]

@VirginMatchmaker So you always have to check whether things contain that Vitamin K??? Really sorry to hear that 馃槓
I hope you have found many healthy alternatives which work for you... 馃尫

@helenS I don't have to check because I have a fair idea what I shouldn't go near, so yes I have to be careful. If you eat leafy greens everyday it has the potential to cause big big problems for someone like me who's prone to PE's.
Honestly I don't eat that healthily. I'd rather be safe than dead which I've come perilously close too.

@VirginMatchmaker actually, the terms thicken or thin are really over simplifications, the older anticoagulants worked by interfering with the synthesis of clotting factors, those which need vitamin K. the leafy vegetables have relatively high concentrations of that vitamin, so will interfere with the effectiveness of the older anti-coagulants.
