A Simple Dowel Rod Makes A Good Peace Keeper For Parakeets Who Like To Fuss Every Evening...

I rattled their cages once when they started having their nightly squabbles and they didn’t like it. I remind them every evening before I sit down to watch tv in the evening. They were nice for 3 evenings and then started up last night. I tapped each cage & told them to quit and they did.

@Eddiesolds They catch on pretty quick. And with their cages on a table behind this sofa all I have to do is pick up the dowel rod and tap each cage without getting up....tap, tap, tap & they shut up. They don’t like that at all.

@Eddiesolds They are cute except for when they start that fussing. They make a noise that sounds like a pack of raccoons chattering and it gets under my skin really quick and then onto the screeching sounds.
