I was just thinking about Chance and how he was my best buddy when Lisa had that little apartment because I was FUN,yes I was,oh yes yes I was- I knew how to scratch that special spot. And how he would cock his head when I said "c'mon bro,let's go to the beach!" Because he knew too that I helped give her a ride to bust him out of jail,although I was admittedly not overly thrilled to be driving 3 counties away in the middle to help her spirit this quivering shell-shocked little purebread critter away from his fancy dog breeder existence,and I don't think kidnapping an $800 dog is the wisest move to make on that given Sunday,but then when I learned that the lil cutie was actually on the lam from a messed up abusive puppy mill,I was pretty psyched and that's why she called him Chance because he got a better chance to go live in the country far from that effed up concrete box and now I see him once in a while all fat and happy up at Rick's ranch and I still see a gleam in his eye that says "hey,you helped get me out of the slammer!' and I'm like,"yeah,I'd do it again too,pardner.Where's your tennis ball?"
