I wish I could go back in time and tell 14 year old me not to be bothered about the popular pretty girl who barely acknowledged my existence…

… now that she looks like a swamp monster, is on her third marriage and dyes her hair bizzare shades when she’s “feeling cute”.

You go back to your computer games and football lad, you dodged a munter there…

Its amazing how many of those popular girls all end up like Roseanne Barr...😷
Sadly, I think that even if you could go back in time, the younger you would not listen to older you. All too often we learn solely from experience: from being burned, from being ignored or neglected or worst from a broken heart. You did however dodge a swampy future 😆

I was never super popular in school....I was always 'The Gay One', even if I didn't feel gay as such. I did, however, fancy this boy that I couldn't even begin to, a) tell you why I did, and b) I knew nothing about because I never even spoke to him. He did look quite cute though.

Fast forward some 8 years and I see him out shopping with his - I guess they were his - children; skinny, this little goatie thing going on, shaved head, pot belly.

Thankfully, he didn't recognise me - obviously, these days I'm a fun lovin', happy T-Girl.

Dodged a bullet? You betcha, sweetie! However, what with those children, I doubt that we would have hooked up in the first place...

@CassandraSissy No matter how hard it is, there is no excuse for a guy that young to let himself go like that.

@CharlesRomsey Or...the moral to this story is....DON'T HAVE CHILDREN!!!! 🤣

I have a similar experience. Do you think you could have changed her, and kept her being the beauty she once was? I know it's a question that cannot be answered, but I sometimes think: "What if?"

@CharlesRomsey Od have tried, I think I’d have failed…

@BluntSm0ker Yeah I guess so. It’s a pity really because her current Facebook pic has totally destroyed the memories I have of her being fit as.

It's a very old truism. 'One will eventually wear the face, they deserve'.
send her a friend request

@PepsiColaP She had her chance in 1994. 😂
13, 14, would be a great age to go back to.

just saying..,
I wouldn't want to go back in time, it was a struggle just to get where I'm at now.
Once met up with an Ex many years ago. When we were out and about guys would actually drool over her.
Years later we met up again, she wore a ton of make-up and her body was all sagging.

😆…swamp monster…🤣

{@wintatheangle] it is just a pity we cannot put an old head on young shoulders and have a more mature view too things . as it worked out it was not such a bad call too how she has turned out and the baggage she has

It fascinates me you even know how a person from such a distant past looks now. And...why do you even care? 😅
