I finally got the stray cat to get near me again as she’s eating the food I’m leaving but when I picked her up to bring her inside she scratched my face. I’m trying to give you a nice warm place to eat and sleep!

Give them enough time to trust you and they may follow you home themselves.

Feral cats do not trust us, keep your hands off, but make a sheltered space and put treats in there
