Spending time with a kitten has made me realize how much I still see Missy as a kitten, not an adult cat.

I know she's grown, but she was the runt and she was so tiny when she was born.🥺 I gave her lots of attention and worried over her, she's still my tiny kitten despite having grown into a beautiful adult cat. She's also my lap cat, and she follows me around while I'm doing things.😻🤗

I just tried adopting another cat. She is 11 years old. I was trying not to get excited. Then they call and said ,That she has been adopted. That hurt a bit. Gosh she would have been spoilt rotten. I.wont be looking again for awhile. Man this sucks. Please pat your kitten for me. Thankyou!

So you DID manage to capture and adopt the black kitten! That's really awesome! You are a truly good person. I missed the updates. Did the kitten have to be captured or did he just come to you?

@4meAndyou He wouldn't let met touch him. I used a crate with string tied to the door and waited for him to go inside. He's not friendly, but he's still quite gentle, I held him so I could change and clean his pen and he doesn't bite.
He's experiencing mixed emotions, he likes to have someone nearby, but he won't cuddle up to anyone yet.
When we pulled up to the shopping center he was waiting for me to feed him, sitting at the edge of the bushes calling me. Didn't take long to catch him.

@UnderLockDown What an absolutely wonderful story! Be sure to get him neutered when he is old enough....and thank you for rescuing him.

I saw a wonderful news clip last month where a little kitten came out of the tall grass at the side of the road crying and mewing, and it was a cop investigating an accident and it was all on tape. He picked up the kitten, and the next minute THIRTEEN baby kittens came out of the tall grass, mewing and crying and hungry! Imagine that!!!!

@SwampFlower She's not hot on the idea.😅 I think the kitten might be male, and she tends to not socialize with them because they play too rough. Hopefully she'll warm up after the kitten is "fixed". She's not aggressive, she just wants no part of the whole affair.😸
