My spaz is doing so much better lately
Covid really botched the service dog training. At this point I’d settle for regular mannered dog 😅🤷🏻♀️ But the daily walks to and from to drop my kiddo off at school have finally started paying off. As an experiment, I took him on a walk to a busy Plaza expecting us to have to turn around, but he did such a good job that we ended up going into a store for the first time, so I could run a quick errand.
🐾 He’s listening better.
🐾 He’s not disjointing my shoulder so much and is getting better at keeping in position with less corrections.
🐾He’s getting better about distractions
🐾and understanding that when the vest is on we don’t people/play with other animals.
🐾He’s starting to realize that when he whines we don’t move, so he’s getting quieter.
🐾 He’s learning to not herd my kid when he’s supposed to be my service dog 🤣
🐾 He’s becoming more patient with staying still.
