Do Your Pets Try To One-Up One Another?

The oldest female parakeet, Kiwi, will chirp loudly every morning as soon as she sees that the sun has come up. She is asking for me to take them out to the sun room, the windows are open and they can hear wild birds sing and listen to other sounds and look out in the back yard. Well apparently Ike, the oldest parakeet who is fixated on showing manners, has to outdo her way of getting me to take them outside. What he started doing last week to ask to go out to the sun room is saying “Thank you….Right? Thank you…Right?”….I guess he doesn’t want to sound demanding like Kiwi. But it’s funny the way he is saying it. He only says this in the early morning after I get up and walk into the kitchen. I did remark to Kiwi one day that she was being so loud with her chirping.

Nope. Right now my pets like to show off to one another. The kittens we have to try to show off. One was trying to jump from the foot rest to the chair then the others wanted to try

@Crypitika When the parakeets were babies in every hatching of them the oldest one would one day start making a screeching threatening sound and all of the other babies even though they were days younger would start doing the very same thing on the same day. Kiwi & Mike raised 5 sets of babies and every single time they would start doing this.
