Baking Rack Turned Server Tower [I Am a Computer Geek]

A bit proud of this since it soved me like, 200+ on buying an actual tower, but I cleaned up an old baking rack that I reinforce to hold more weight.

As soon as I mount the servers in place and put some paneling on the side, it'll be complete. X3

That's an impressive set-up and does look the part! What do you use all that power for?

Looking at the ends of the front panels I wondered if there is enough overlap to secure them by self-tapping screws into the uprights, perhaps those self-drilling ones used for fastening arhcitectural steel panels to pressed-steel purlins.

@NeighFlowers Ah, OK. Yes, thinking about it the walls of the frame tubes will be very thin.

I noticed you enjoy computer games but I didn't realise they need so much "woof" to run fully.
@ArishMell Well, the games don't. But if you want to run a server that'll support 30+ players, and the hardware you're using is 'dated' to say it nicely, it'll look like it's more impressive than it truly is. ^^;

I'd kill to get my hands on a more modern server that's capable of doing everything 3 or 4 of those older models are capable of.

@NeighFlowers Ah, I understand. I didn't know you link players in that way.
I used to gave the problem of needing baker's racks and a only had server towers.
Weird.

Please tell me you're making screw holes in the rack to mount them properly
@MartinTheFirst Yeah, a hole through each side of the support bars for every server and then nuts and a washer to hold them in place.

Followed up with counter weights on the back to level out the weight and the heavier servers on on the bottom to keep it from being too top heavy.
Smurt 🤘
