I didn't do it out of ego, but because she hadn't been driven in awhile. Took my Corvette to my favorite diner and I will admit I was appreciating those ogling it and admiring it. Then a guy pulled in driving his classic Alfa Remeo Spider roadster from the late 50s, early 60s and Ruby (my Corvette) turned into post-midnight Cinderella. A reminder to not let the ego massages take over.

Arrogance can turn into narcissism and that can blind people to their weaknesses and set themselves up for failure. Bet to be humble and see ourselves as we really are, warts & all.
