That can be very hard when the cases keep coming in and the work load gets more and more. You end up trying not to worry about yourself. During the spanish flu, medical staff were dropping like flies, but they were still coming to work. But, if they can't leave their family alone, they can't come in.

It kind of reminds me if how children were sent to live outside of the cities during WW II. Medical staff greatly appreciate what you are doing. We can't focus on our jobs if we are worrying about our children.
