I don't think you are right. Sex positivity (or, more generally, body positivity) is important for every human being, even men!
In other words, don't be embarrassed about your body and its sexual functions. 馃槒

I think men are already overpositive. 馃榾
zonavar6851-55, M
@WandererTony Personally disagree and I feel I've been conditioned to feel ashamed about sex and find anything I regard as pleasurible in the domain of sex to be irrelevant.

Well the whole sex-positivity 'movement' if you want to call it that does seem to exclude men unless they're part of a m/f couple.
SunshineGirl36-40, F
Historically and currently men have not required much encouragement to 'express' themselves sexually 馃槥
zonavar6851-55, M
@SunshineGirl It's not about 'sexual expression' in my understanding, but about positively accepting and encouraging everything that a person 'brings to the table' in terms of sex and intimacy. Why men seem to be left out of this is the social question I've raised.
SunshineGirl36-40, F
@zonavar68 Sure, I accept that. But a major part of positivity is establishing that female sexuality is equally valid to male and that there is nothing perverted about women talking about and enjoying sex. The main barrier in my opinion is that men have dominated the discourse.

Sex positivity.... Is that like yes, i want sex?
zonavar6851-55, M
@ozgirl512 I think that's one part it. Positive encouragement and acceptance.
