Tell me about your experience at a nude beach [I Nude Beach]
There are a few nude beaches here in Sydney but I’ve never had the courage to go. Have you ever been to one? can you tell me about your experience?

First time was decades ago. A long walk from the car park through the regular beach to the remote nude area. Thankfully not crowded so I could disrobe discreetly and sit for a while to get used to it before getting courage to cross the wide sand to the water. Everyone seemed to be trying hard to behave nicely, leaving space, not obviously looking, well not much.
Later I innocently asked a woman for the time (left my watch in the car, no mobile phone). She gladly came and sat with me, started chatting, she was a local, offered to show me a better way (via the dunes) to my car, invited me back to 'listen to music'. I nervously declined both, later wished I hadn't. I was young and naive then, now just naive.

@SydneyGuy I didn't intend my question as a come-on, I simply wanted to know the time. Soon realised my naivety :). I intended to go back but it was a long drive and somehow I never did, then moved away.
Much later (older and less nervous) I swam nude with a friend at remote beaches when no one else was around. Such a great feeling.

I've been to two or three in Spain. The one at Maspalomas on Gran Canaria is very nice. It is a long wide beach close to the town so there are lots of people both clothed and naked on it, many just taking a walk along the sea shore. I’ve walked all the way along it completely nude and felt very comfortable doing so. You soon get used to having no clothes on and you can swim in the sea without a silly clingy wet costume. You do have to realise that most people on a nude beach aren’t glamour models and don’t quite have nude beach ready bodies. I, of course, do...
